The Denali LTEM program is your federal tax dollars at work. We want to make it as easy as possible for the public to find results from the program and to comment on its direction. Public support is especially critical to the success of a long-term data collection program, such as this. Maintaining long-term funding in an annual budget environment is a challenge— Long-term programs must be able to compete successfully with projects addressing the crisis-of-the-moment. The LTEM program cannot generate public support if the public does not perceive any benefits from the program.
