USGS - Science for a Changing World
Title: Fairbanks Feeder Count
Abstract: This is a volunteer-based monitoring program for birds using feeders in the Fairbanks area. It provides data on trends in common winter birds. Such information may prove useful in determining causes of changes in populations of migrants (e. g., looking at effects of fragmentation of breeding areas versus loss of wintering or migration habitats).
