Title: Landcover Classification of the National Petroleum Reserve, Alaska
Abstract: Landsat-TM data are being classified into 16-17 landcover categories for this 23-million-acre unit located on the North Slope of the Brooks Range. Minor landcover classes include 3 for water/ice, 3 for sparse vegetation/barren ground, and 10-11 for vegetation.
