Title: Breeding Bird Atlas of Fort Richardson
Abstract: All training areas on Fort Richardson, outside of Anchorage, have been surveyed to document the breeding status and relative abundance of summer birds occurring on the base in spring and summer. Information will be used to map species abundance and distribution and will be overlayed with vegetation cover type and disturbance level. A series of habitat-based point counts have also been conducted throughout the base.
